#30days30testimonials - Day 7

Today was mostly spent recovering from a 'saki' hang-over. Even in my rather dishevelled state [both mentally and physically], I managed a 9 check-ins; which could have resulted in perfect customer service or an introduction to a fantastic product.

I am going to tell you all about a product today, and this 'product' doesn't strictly follow the rules which I set out when I began this challenge. BUT count yourself lucky, as I was very close to reviewing a car park for your enjoyment!

I didn't do a blog post testimonial for it in the end, because I need that car park to stay empty for my use ;-)

This testimonial is for a tourist spot in the centre of St Albans...
The Clock Tower, High Street, St Albans @StAlbansMuseums

We were walking past when we spotted a pedestrian entering the front entrance. A quick glance at the price board [£1!, FREE if accompanied by a child] and we were also headed through the door arch.

Once inside, we were greeted by a pair of friendly gentlemen, who from behind a table full of souvenirs, took our quids and gave us a ticket each before we began scaling the winding stair case.

You don't need to be fit to climb the steps, but it sure helps. Plus there are several pit stops on the way up, to stop yourself from getting dizzy during the climb.

No matter how tough that you find the climb though, your efforts will be richly rewarded :-)

The views of St Albans from the very top of the tower are magnificent. Bring a camera, chose a sunny and dry day, and just do it. We highly recommend a visit. It is open Saturdays, Sundays and bank holidays - but you can find all the information you need here.

Have a great bank holiday weekend!
